Mechanical Fixed System

What is a Mechanical Fixed System?

By using our mechanically fixed pre-pointed prefabricated brick slips you no longer need to fix individual brick slip tiles on site. This enables the mechanical fixed system to make huge savings possible in both time and labour, as most of the work is already complete.

The finished panels are delivered direct to your building site, ready to be installed quickly and efficiently using a unique modularised mounting system with a metal backing plate. The installed panels and brick slip tiles require minimal pointing. This gives a consistent finish across all panels.

At Modular Clay Products the Stofix system is one of partners we work with which allows architects and designers to select specific bricks. Unlike other brick slip tile systems, Stofix can utilise most high quality, weatherproof, kiln-fired brick surfaces manufactured by reputable brick suppliers. Choose your size, colour, texture or bond. It is the only pre-pointed, mechanically fixed brick slip cladding system that is fire-rated over 18mtr and gives you the flexibility to choose almost any brick.

The durable, lightweight system is suitable for new construction and renovation projects.

Stofix is BBA Certified, has a 60-year Design Life and 20-year manufacture warranty.
